Coprosain, is one of Belgium’s oldest organic farmers’ cooperatives. Set up in 1998 to assist the handful of organic farmers in the region, Coprosain invested in the processing and marketing of organic meat and sausage products.  We should also remember the difficulties these farmers were having at that time to sell their organic beef on the market, as supply exceeded demand. A decade ago, there were not many organisations processing and marketing organic meat.
