Operating as a cooperative, for the past 10 years Ethiquable has been run on a stringent fair trade basis, supporting smallholder farming via 49 cooperatives of small-scale producers. Each of the fair-trade organic products comes from a single terroir, a single organisation run as a development project aimed at increasing smallholders' independence. Ethiquable works on the ground to support producers in setting up these fair trade projects.
